Bio

Cori Traub joined our team as Director of Philanthropy in April of 2021. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a fundraiser with nonprofit public health and healthcare organizations.

Cori began her philanthropy career as the Director of Development for environmental organizations such as Pesticide Action Network and the Coalition for Clean Air and later joined the team at UC Davis Health System. As a Senior Director of Development there, she helped launch the first fundraising campaign for the new Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing and then took a position as the Health System’s Director of Foundation Relations. In that role she helped principal investigators apply for philanthropic support of medical and public health research. She spent the last 7 years as a Director of Philanthropy at Sutter Health, where she managed the philanthropy operations for 11 hospital foundations.

Originally from upstate New York, she holds a B.S. in Social Science from SUNY Buffalo and an M.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She now lives near Sacramento with her husband, daughter and cat, Oslo.
