About the Scleroderma Research Foundation

Our Story

The Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF) was founded in 1987 by Sharon Monsky, a businesswoman turned scleroderma champion after being diagnosed with the disease. Guided by her vision, we have become the largest nonprofit funder of scleroderma research in the U.S.

What We Do

The Scleroderma Research Foundation is the U.S.’s leading nonprofit focused on finding a cure for scleroderma, a rare and serious disease. It supports top scientists and medical experts working together to better understand, treat, and ultimately end scleroderma. Until that day, we are equally committed to providing education, raising awareness, and sharing the most up-to-date information the scleroderma community needs.
