The People Behind the Scleroderma Research Foundation

As the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s (SRF) founder Sharon Monsky always said, “We’re in business to go out of business”, because we found a cure. Meet the people working diligently behind the scenes at our nonprofit organization to end this disease and close the doors.

Sharon Monsky

Her passion, determination, and ability to bring people together helped build an organization that continues to drive progress today. Though Sharon passed away from complications of scleroderma in 2002, her mission and vision live on through the work of the SRF.

Bob Saget

For more than 30 years, SRF Board Member Bob Saget was a passionate advocate for the scleroderma community. After losing his sister Gay to scleroderma, Bob made it his mission to ensure the disease would be put in the spotlight until we found a cure, and we remain committed to his vision of a world free from scleroderma.
