Congratulations are in order: SRF-investigator Ami Shah, MD, MHS, of Johns Hopkins University has been awarded the Henry Kunkel Early Career Investigator Award at the ongoing American College of Rheumatology meeting. The Henry Kunkel Early Career Investigator award is given to an early-career physician-scientist who has made outstanding and promising independent contributions to basic or clinical research in the field of rheumatology. Dr. Shah’s research focuses on the hypothesis that cancer can be an initiator of autoimmunity.
