Gloria Blecha is the Vice President of Programs and Operations at the Scleroderma Research Foundation, where she leads patient education and disease awareness initiatives. She works closely with the patient community, advocacy groups, and corporate supporters to expand outreach and drive impact—advancing SRF’s mission to improve lives and find a cure.
Gloria joined SRF in 2020 as Development Manager and has progressed through key leadership roles. With 19 years in health-focused nonprofits, she specializes in fundraising, communications, and program development focused on lasting impact. She began her nonprofit career at Hospice East Bay, followed by the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, and is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy University Fundraising Academy.
Gloria holds a B.S. in Biology from Saint Mary’s College and now lives in Walnut Creek, where she and her husband raised their two grown daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, gardening, lifting weights, and spending time with family and friends.
