Community on the Course: Ally’s Allies Raise Awareness and Funds for Research

By September 8, 2025No Comments

On August 25, Ally’s Allies held their 3rd Annual Golfing for a Cure—and it was their biggest yet! With 160 golfers participating, the event raised over $25,000 to support scleroderma research.

The community’s generosity was on full display, with nearly 80 in-kind donations contributed for the raffle and auction. From local businesses to individual supporters, the outpouring of support made the auction a highlight of the day.

Ally’s Allies was founded by Ally W. (dx 2022) and her mother, Linda. Motivated by Ally’s journey and a desire to accelerate progress toward a cure, they launched the nonprofit to raise awareness and funds for scleroderma research. Their efforts have quickly gathered a passionate network of supporters committed to making a difference.

We are deeply grateful to members of the Cure Crew like Ally and Linda, who work tirelessly to advance our mission. Their dedication helps drive research forward, build community, and bring us closer to a cure.
