Grove Wine Bar Raises $4K for Scleroderma Research

By July 11, 2025No Comments

On June 30th, all four Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen locations in Austin, Texas, celebrated Scleroderma Awareness Month by donating 10% of their net sales to support the SRF’s research programs. Despite heavy rains, customers still showed up in support, helping raise over $4,000.

The annual fundraiser is led by Grove Co-Founder Beth Lasita, a dedicated Cure Crew member who organizes the event in memory of her mother, Betty, who passed away from scleroderma 16 years ago.

“Thirty years after my mom’s diagnosis, we still have no cause or cure,” Beth said. “But there is more awareness, better care, and a growing community of support. That’s why we keep going.”

We’re grateful to Beth and the Grove team for their continued commitment to driving research forward and bringing hope to people living with scleroderma.
