A big thank you to Jodie Sweetin for playing for the SRF on Name that Tune—we recently received a stunning gift of $10,000 in prize money after she won against Frankie Muniz on the popular TV show. On the show, Jodie called the Scleroderma Research Foundation “very near and dear to my heart.”
She explained her choice was in honor of two people: Bob Saget and her grandmother. “Bob Saget, who recently passed—it was a charity that he was on the board for, for over 30 years and worked tirelessly for,” she said. “It [scleroderma] was also a disease my grandmother suffered from.”
Thank you, Jodie, for using this opportunity to raise both awareness of scleroderma and funds for research. What a meaningful way to remember two such important people in your life.
