In Loving Memory of Maureen Worron-Sauvé

By February 4, 2026No Comments

The SRF joins the global scleroderma community in celebrating the life of Maureen Worron-Sauvé, a cherished leader, tireless advocate, and inspirational champion for everyone affected by this disease.

For more than a decade, the SRF had the privilege of working closely with Maureen through our partnership with Scleroderma Canada, where she served as a devoted and deeply respected board member. In every collaboration and every conversation, Maureen brought a rare combination of compassion, resolve, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people living with scleroderma.

Maureen’s dedication and impact reached far beyond her work. Her leadership and humanity left an indelible mark on colleagues, advocates, and the broader scleroderma community she cared for so deeply. She gave voice to those who felt unheard, visibility to those who felt unseen, and a sense of connection to those who felt alone.

Our hearts are with Scleroderma Canada, with Maureen’s family and loved ones, and with all who are grieving her loss. It was an honor to know and have worked alongside her, and she will be deeply missed. Her legacy lives on in the strength, connection, and care she helped build within this community.
