Shine a Light on PAH: Take Action This November

By November 1, 2025November 5th, 2025No Comments

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a serious lung condition that affects blood flow between the heart and lungs. For people living with scleroderma, it is one of the most common and serious complications.

November is Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month—a time to educate, advocate, and take action for those affected by this condition. By raising awareness, we can promote earlier diagnosis, better care, and greater support for people living with scleroderma-related PAH.

There are lots of ways to get involved and help raise awareness around PAH:

🔹Access Educational Resources on Our Website

Discover information on how scleroderma can lead to PAH, what symptoms to watch for, and why screening is so important.

🔹 Attend a Webinar on PAH Advocacy

Join the Pulmonary Hypertension Association for their interactive online session, “From Awareness to Action: Advocating for the PH Community.”

📅 Tuesday, November 4

⏰ 2:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM UTC

At the event, you can receive updates on key legislation and learn how to use PHA’s Action Center to contact lawmakers and drive change.

Last year, the SRF partnered with Project Scleroderma to produce a video series featuring people living with PAH and scleroderma. Through their stories, you can get a glimpse into what it’s like to navigate symptoms, find treatment, and live with these conditions.

🔹Hear from Experts on PAH Symptoms and Management

Explore our playlist to watch recorded webinar sessions on how PAH develops in scleroderma, how it’s diagnosed, and the treatments that can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
