Double Your Impact with a Gift to Our 2022 Research Challenge

Double your impact with a gift to our 2022 Research Challenge! We’re excited to share that SRF Board Chair, Luke Evnin, PhD, and Research Committee Chair, Deann Wright, have once again committed to generously match every dollar donated up to $50,000 through July 15th.

This year, we’re highlighting the Scleroderma Twins Study. Led by SRF-funded investigator Dr. Howard Chang at Stanford University, the expert research team is recruiting genetically identical twins—where one twin has scleroderma and the other twin does not—and analyzing modifications to their DNA that control how and when genes function. Researchers believe that small differences between the twins will allow them to pinpoint environmental influences, genes, and pathways involved in scleroderma.

Your support of our Research Challenge helps advance innovative projects like this one. With your help, we will continue to unite exceptional scientists and clinicians across many disciplines in order to unravel scleroderma’s mysteries, discover new treatments, and ultimately eradicate this disease.

If you are in a position to support this important work, please make a matched gift today.
