The 5th Annual ILD Day is coming up on September 10: mark your calendar for these opportunities to learn and get involved!
Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a group of lung conditions that cause scarring of the lung tissue, making it harder to breathe and affecting daily life in profound ways. For people living with scleroderma, ILD can add an extra layer of challenges—but awareness, education, and early action can make a difference.
We’ve partnered with ten patient organizations to bring much-needed awareness to ILD and its impact on people living with chronic conditions like scleroderma.
There are lots of ways to get involved and help raise awareness around ILD:
🔹ILD Day Webinar – September 10 — A live webinar hosted by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. This year’s ILD topic focuses on how genetics play a role in the development of the disease, followed by a live Q&A. Learn more and register
🔹 Scleroderma and ILD: A Spotlight on the Lungs – September 16 — A FREE, live webinar, hosted by the SRF, covering scleroderma-ILD connection, screening, treatment, symptom management, and a live Q&A.
🔹 Have conversations, share resources, and help spread awareness
This ILD Day, learn, connect, and take action—attend the webinars, have conversations, and help raise awareness for people living with this challenging condition.
